The influence of conceptual cartoons on the perception of professional subjects

Abstract 
The article discusses the use of concept cartoons as an effective way to convey concepts to students. Research has shown that students at all levels of physics education have «misconception». Without exception, this includes those who studied in vocational schools. For this purpose, the students «misconception» about electricity were identified. The «misconception» identified indicate that a strategy must be defined to solve the problem. The author suggests using concept cartoons in such cases. Concept cartoons were applied in one of the vocational disciplines. In the example of «Fundamentals of Electrotechnical» sector module taught in vocational education, it was carried out using conceptual cartoons in the evaluation and conceptual deviations were defined and eliminated. The scientific advantage of the article is the adaptation of the concept cartoons to the vocational education system of Azerbaijan, the study of the impact on the acquisition of professional issues and the definition of educational strategies according to the knowledge level of the students.
