Abstract
The article is devoted to the formation of gender equality knowledge of children in the preschool period. The author compares the experience of the
teaching methods concerning how to solve out the gender-related problems in preschoolers in Turkey and other countries (mainly in the USA and Sweden). The author also discusses the role of toys in educating process children gender-based relations, also highlights the various methods are used in different coun-tries. Meanwhile, the author expresses his regrets about Turkey's position in the Gender Gap Re-port of 2017 where Turkey ranks 131st among 144 countries. The author also emphasizes that the education system and teachers have a great responsibility to prevent gender problems that cause an imbalance in the prosperity of society.
