Vocational consulting in the context of the philosophy of education

Abstract
The importance of educating people with analytical, creative and philosophical thinking is increasing day by day in our age. The purpose of the contemporary education model is to educate people who can solve problems, aim to learn and who are aware of their interests and abilities, by taking the person on the center. Therefore, natural abilities of the people should be developed and conscious guidance should be made about their career choice, by considering the education with a research and initiative qualification.
The main objective of education is to develop a person's natural abilities and guide him to choose the profession that suits his knowledge and skills. Because, the education means raising people in accordance with certain goals. Education is all teaching activities that include training, discipline and culture. The purpose of education that started with a certain aims, continues with get the knowledge, teaching activity and ends with the evaluation. So briefly, to define, education is human perfection. As Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) stated, human has a unique structure in terms of self-education. 
In this study, the importance of vocational counseling is considered in the context of educational philosophy. Counseling relationship and the factors to be considered for proper guidance of career choice and development on the career guidance processes are emphasized.
